What we send out into the world is what we receive back.
The thoughts that I have of anger, fear, paranoia and the like are all thoughts that originate with my mind. The ego would have us believe that we are completely vulnerable and that the world is out to get us. When we are focused on what is wrong, we are incapable of being focused on creation. Fear and faith cannot exist in the same space. Therefore, when we focus on the fear of losing, the fear of rejection, the fear of old age and death, the fear of lost love, or the fear of anything, we cannot see our own invulnerability. We were created to create. We were not created to fear what might go wrong. Those thoughts are driven by our ego and cause us to freeze up, lose focus, and step away from our destiny.
In working with salespeople over the years, I have found that people will become afraid of being rejected, or hung up on, or simply being told no and will just quit. They won't do what is required of them in their jobs because they fear. Those fears originate in their minds and are the direct result of believing that they are vulnerable. What if you stepped back from your life and realized that you are more than your body, more than your circumstances, more than the events and conditions that surround you? What if you realized that your soul was infinite and unbounded? What if you knew that you were invulnerable? You cannot fail at anything if you know, not just think, but accept as truth, that you were created for greatness? Your perspective on this world would have to be different. You would have to give up the idea that you were being attacked or that you had any need to attack.
In my conversation with my youngest last night, we discussed the idea that some people walk in faith and invulnerability. These people have no need to lash out at others, or to become angry. They have no need to assign negative meaning to things that happen because there is no meaning to them. When something happens, it isn't required that it relates to you. Those types of thoughts are attack thoughts and they take you away from your meaning. Today, focus on understanding that when you feel the need to lash out, or to be afraid, those are thoughts that are first projected by you, into your own mind. They are thoughts that take away from your peace and your joy. Don't accept that negative gift from your ego-mind. Instead, focus on the truth. The Spirit has made you invulnerable. You were made for greatness! You were made to create! Now, go live into your destiny.
