I cannot see apart from Him because I cannot be apart from Him. This idea is one of the most basic, yet one of the most profound things that one could think. Everything that we see, God also sees. Everything that we observe, God is also observing.
Even though we have the choice to use our ego as the basis for perception and interpretation, the Spirit desires to intercede on our behalf. When we stop trying to make sense of everything and allow the Spirit to guide us, what we need to see will appear. It is in surrendering the the sight and perceptive interpretation of the Spirit that we are shown the path to follow.
I cannot see anything, not a blade of grass, not a building, not anything apart from God. He is a part of me and so when I see anything, I can see with the mind of God. If I choose to cloud my mind, I see with human perception, with what the ego would have me see. We are in a battle between love and fear, good and evil, the Spirit and the ego. When we use our ego to guide us, we find fear and strife. When we use the Spirit to guide us, we find peace.
The pathway is clear to those who see with the mind of God. Claim God as your source one your journey every day. Choose to see what God sees for then you will have peace.
