Those who have accepted their innocence and their connectedness to the Spirit, see nothing to forgive because they have never condemned. One of the most amazing feelings in the world is to NOT judge people and events around you. When you look at a person, it seems to be the natural human condition to judge them by their weight, their looks, their height, their skin color, or whatever other labels people can come up with. It is in judging others that we feel our own unforgiveness and our own self-judgement. Guilt is the result of desiring others to feel guilty for the labels that we are putting on them. It is through God's love that we forgive. God has not judged us and therefore we are forgiven through our own faith. His love is perfect and is not based on condemnation, but rather on salvation.
The strength to forgive doesn't exist in the realm of the ego, though. The great deception is that we cannot or should not forgive. This is the ego trying to keep you in a state of self-judgement. It is only through God's love that we have the strength to forgive others. It is through His salvation that we are saved. Throughout the day, we should focus on loving everyone and everything that we come into contact with. When we do that, we live in love instead of in fear. It is when we judge and label others that we find ourselves afraid. Fear is based in the ego. The Spirit sees no fear because there is nothing to fear in truth. Fear only exists in the realm of the illusion. Anxiety, fear, aggression, lashing out, all of these are a result of living in fear and living in the illusion. When we look at life and see only love for others and see that they want only the best for us, then we give up the illusions. We give up the fear that we have clung to for far too long.
People often lash out at others in order to alleviate their own self-judgement. The truth is that when anyone judges or lashes out it is because they are angry inwardly. It is their self-judgement that they project onto the world. The only cure for this is love. It is in loving others and truly desiring the very best for them that we are set free from condemnation. And it is only in God's love that we can forgive ourselves. Only then can we forgive the world.
When we choose love over fear, we begin to hear the voice of God through the Spirit. We are connected to the Spirit because we are one and the same with the Spirit. We hear the voice of God because that voice is a part of our own mind. When we listen to love, we are sustained throughout the day. We are made whole and see only good in the world around us. When we choose the illusion, we disconnect from the voice of God and hear only the fearful ramblings of this world. I choose to hear the voice of God throughout this day and every day. I choose to live in love and to let go of judgement and condemnation. I choose to forgive through the power of the Spirit and to see that I want the best for everyone around me and they want the best for me. People will go out of their way to be helpful to me today and to bring success to my life. They will do the same for you if you live in forgiveness.
Live your life in love, not fear!
