We don't really see things as they are. We see things as we imagine or filter them to be. When Richard Bandler and John Grinder were creating NLP, they created an understanding of how we handle the things that are coming at us. With all information, we delete what we don't want to accept, distort information to fit our interpretations, and generalize the rest of the information coming at us. By doing this, we are able to keep our version of reality, however flawed it is, intact.
If you were to look at a chair, you wouldn't even see the chair as it really is. You would see the chair as you have conditioned your mind to see it. You don't see your job as it really is. You see it as you have conditioned yourself to see it. You don't see a tree as it really is. You see it as you have conditioned yourself to see it. This can go on and on. I believe that the world has a tremendous amount to offer us. Yet, I also believe that I am completely connected and a part of all that exists. Nothing that is real can be threatened and nothing that is false or unreal even exists.
Your struggles are the illusions that you have created in order to keep your version of reality intact, but they are only constructs. You see them as struggles because you have chosen to need struggle in your life. When you focus on the past, which no longer is real, you dwell in the illusion. When you focus on the future, which is not yet real, you dwell in the illusion. It is only when you are fully in the present that you are living in what is real. It is only when you see the miracle of creation and the miracle of our interconnectedness that you are living in what is real.
What if you were to wake up today and realize that you have always been in control of your world? What if you were to wake up and realize that you have a choice, right now, in this moment, to be who you wish to be? What if you claim you choice right now to live as a victor and not a victim. The miracle of life is that it can be lived, connected to everything else that lives, and bringing fullness to everything that it connects to. You are not who you have thought you were. You are who you think you are in this moment. If you remove the illusion, you will no longer be "destined for greatness." You will already be the truth of greatness.
You have been created to connect. You are already the embodyment of truth. That which is true is real and cannot be threatened. That which is false is untrue and can therefore not be real. Live your life in truth, not how the world would have you live, but in how you were created to live.
