Life is not really about the problems that we are facing or the challenges that seem to be restricting us. Life is about the focus that we choose. We can choose to focus on the problem itself or we can focus on the truth that our only real problem has already been solved. The harsh truth is that it is a choice that we must make. We have always been in control of our focus. We may not control our circumstances, or the people around us, or the economy, but we can control our focus.
When we do have "problems," they are always some form of grievance. They are a form of seeing the world and being angry about what we see. They are our cry that things are unjust and must be fixed. I still reflect back on some advice that my business coach gave me. He said that I should do what I was made to do and not expect anything from others. The only responsibility I had was to live into my purpose. What others did with that was up to them. It is incredibly freeing to simply be who you are supposed to be. When you let go of what others should do and what is "right," then you can embrace the truth. The truth is...
The only problem that you have ever had was choosing between staying connected to the Creator or choosing to be separate. By choosing connection, my only real problem is already solved. That is all that really matters in this life. Everything else is just "window dressing" as my late grandmother would say. Today, I would challenge you to accept the truth that there is only one problem, presented in the form of a choice. If you choose the focus on your connection with the Creator, then you have no other real problems. Nothing that is real can be threatened. Nothing that is unreal has ever existed.
