Make The Most Of Yourself!

"The very best thing you can do for the world is to make the most of yourself."

--Wallace Wattles

I believe there is a lot of truth to this statement. When I look around the world, the people who seem to make the greatest impact are the ones that are continually growing and developing themselves. They read books, attend seminars, learn online, and then implement the things they are learning. To make the most of yourself, there are three simple actions you can take on a daily basis. Once these actions are put into practice consistently for 30 days, you really don't even have to think about them, they just become a part of who you are.

Action 1: Learn something every single day. There are a number of ways to do this, but I have found books to be incredibly impactful. Next, my goto learning source is online learning. eLearning allows me to learn at my own pace and to consume content at 6AM without attending anything. This can be a blog, a TED talk, a podcast, or an actual eLearning platform.. Finally, I go to seminars on a regular basis. I attend at least one big seminar per year, but often hit two or three in a calendar year. These three types of learning require a great deal of preparation and research on the part of the presenters. Regardless of which source you go to, go there for 30 minutes a day. You can do this while driving, working out, or sitting on your back porch. Use learning to enhance your mind rather than watching a TV program or scrolling through social media.

Action 2: Invest in the success of another person. Perhaps the most effective way to ensure that a new piece of information gets integrated into who you are is to teach it to someone else. Make sure the other person desires your wisdom before you do this, but find a way to invest time, wisdom, and energy into another person. When I teach my courses, it serves as the perfect reminder to me of what I should be doing on a daily basis. Our minds start to call BS on us when we don't align our words and our deeds. This is a catalyst to ensure your new knowledge is also your new action, which leads to action 3.

Action 3: Live into the learning. When we can learn to get past our preconceived notions of what the world is supposed to be and begin to apply the things we have learned and taught, we are able to truly serve the world as our highest self. It matters very little what you think if you are not doing something about it. People desire to be connected with people who have something to offer. This is why people swoon over a celebrity because meeting them or knowing them helps the person feel significant. You are of greatest value when you are contributing the greatest value. If you want people to desire to learn from you (Action 2), live into the learning and demonstrate it on a daily basis. When you have your life together and are a success, then and only then will people seek you out as a sage or advisor. You can always help others at any level you are at, but you are of the most value when you are successful.

I believe it is your duty to elevate your success and increase the amount of value you have to offer the world. The world is not served by you avoiding your greatness. It is only served when you embrace all of your greatness through learning, investing in others, and living into all you are capable of.

Believe me when I tell you this... you will be astonished at what you can accomplish when you live fully into all you are capable of!

Now, go make the most of yourself today and every day!
