Regardless of what the world throws at us, we have to commit to the life we intend to live. In the story of Hernando Cortez, he learned that he and his men would have to think and act differently from others in order to take the world's greatest treasure. This treasure had been protected for more than 600 years, and no conqueror had been able to take it, but Cortez was different.
